TeaCupsThe Bethany Women’s Ministry Team hosted the first “Spring Into Summer” luncheon this year (2014). The first one was held in Fellowship Hall on Saturday, June 7, from noon until 2:00 p.m., with the theme of growth and renewal. Our outside speaker was Nancy Williams, a devoted Christian who instructs classes at the Mount Wachusett fitness center. The title of her message was “Bloom,” with Luke 2:52 as her text: “And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

The committee prepared a variety of tea sandwiches and other finger foods served on the church china and there was a Yankee Swap (everyone brought a wrapped kitchen towel), along with various other favors and decorations provided by the ministry team members.
